The orestone story!

I’m Jack, and I founded Orestone here in South Devon.
The name comes from a small, protected island just a short paddle from my local beach, Meadfoot. To me, it represents the wild beauty of the intertidal zone, the life above and below the waves.

Orestone was born from a desire to capture a piece of the ocean and reimagine it in a bold, modern way. Every design starts with seaweed I’ve foraged from local beaches, pressed and transformed into prints that feel fresh, unexpected, and alive.

The first design being the beautiful fan weed came to life during a photoshoot. As I looked out to sea, the Orestone was right there, and I knew instantly it was the perfect representation for the brand.

This is just the beginning. The future of Orestone will keep exploring the textures, forms, and stories hidden above and below the British ocean for those who live by it, play in it, and love it.
